Brine shrimp, also known as Artemia or saltwater eggs, during the early nauplius stage in the first and second days after hatching, have yolks rich in protein and fat (approximately 60% protein and 25% fat), as well as unsaturated fatty acids, making them an excellent feed for the larvae of fish, shrimp, and crabs. Brine shrimp eggs produced in Bohai Bay, due to the specific natural growth conditions such as water area, environment, seasonal temperature, water quality, and salinity, are particularly nutritious, small in size, and have high larval vitality. Practical use has shown that they are especially suitable as a preferred feed for *** fish fry, Macrobrachium rosenbergii larvae, and ornamental fish.
